Sri Lankan Students Returned to China Today

Sri Lankan Airlines operated a special charter flight from Colombo to Tianjin today, carrying 164 Sri Lankan medical students enrolled at the Tianjin Medical University.
The news was shared by the students in the flight, Sri Lankan Airlines as well as the Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka.
The embassy wrote on twitter that it will continue to work closely with Sri Lankan authorities to help more Sri Lankan students return to their universities ASAP.
Images of students in Hazmat suits at the airport were also shared online.
Medical students around the world have welcomed the news as it signals that more of them will be returning to China in the coming months.
Others shared on the twitter thread that they wish they will be allowed to enter China before September this year.
